UAE Covid -19 Rules: Dubai Pubs, Bars Closed Till Mid-April
UAE Covid -19 Rules: Dubai’s Covid safety measures will remain in place till the start of Ramadan in mid-April, the emirate’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management had announced yesterday.
This means that some public spaces will remain closed, while others will operate at reduced capacity.
The new rules aim to keep residents and tourists safe from Covid-19.
Here is the full list of rules that were first announced in the beginning of February:
>> Pubs/bars will remain closed.
>> Restaurants and cafes will be required to close by 1am.
>> Indoor venues, including cinemas and entertainment and sports venues, will continue to operate at 50 per cent of maximum capacity and under intensified precautionary measures.
>> Visitors in shopping malls; and guests in hotel establishments and inside swimming pools and private beaches in hotels will be limited to 70 per cent of total capacity.
Intensified monitoring and inspection campaigns will continue to ensure strict compliance with measures, including physical distancing and wearing of face masks.
Residents are encouraged to report violations of the safety rules through the Dubai Police’s hotline 901 or via the cops’ mobile app.
