UAE Covid Vaccine: New center opens for jabs
UAE Covid Vaccine: Masdar has announced the opening of a Covid-19 vaccination center in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi.
Speaking about the new centre, Abdulla Balalaa, Acting Executive Director, Sustainable Real Estate, Masdar City, said, “At Masdar City, we are delighted to continue our support of the fight against Covid-19 by hosting a vaccination centre. We are honoured to support the UAE’s national goal of providing free Covid-19 vaccinations for all of the country’s citizens and residents.”
The new centre will provide the first dose of the vaccination to Emiratis, residents aged 50 and over, those with chronic illnesses and people of determination while the second dose of the vaccine will be administered to people under the age of 50 at the place.
“By leveraging Mubadala Health’s infrastructure and working with partners such as Masdar City, we can ensure that more segments of the population will have easy access to the vaccines,” remarked Omar Al Naqbi, Acting Executive Director of Healthpoint.
What the new Masdar City health centre offers:
> Vaccinations are being provided free of charge at the new centre.
> The centre is open from Sunday to Thursday, from 10am and 7pm
> Appointments are necessary for people who meet the current criteria.
> Visitors will be asked to present their Emirates IDs
> Residents must have AlHosn app downloaded on their mobile phones before receiving the vaccine.
